KENYA CAMPING SAFARI ITINERARY
Day 01: NAIROBI
On arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by a company representative. Drive to Nairobi City Center and drop off at the Easy Airport Hotel where you will check-in for rest and overnight after your flight to Kenya.
Day 02: NAIROBI – SAMBURU
After breakfast, leave Nairobi at 7:00 AM and drive via the central highlands to Samburu arriving for lunch. Afternoon game drive. Later return to Samburu Riverside Camp for rest, dinner and overnight (BLD).
Day 03: SAMBURU
Before dawn your driver guide will be ready for the early morning search of hunting cats. Later you will return to camp for breakfast and relax at Samburu Riverside Camp before your next game drive late afternoon. All meals & overnight at Samburu Riverside Camp (BLD).
Day 04: SAMBURU – LAKE NAKURU
After an early breakfast bid farewell to Samburu as you drive south through Isiolo, crossing the northernmost foothills of Mt. Kenya until you get to Nanyuki town. Here you’ll head west to Nyahururu Falls, still known to many as Thomson’s falls for its 237ft cascade. After a brief stopover, drive southward to your next destination, Lake Nakuru home to a million of flamingoes beautifully lining at its shores. Lake Nakuru National Park surrounds the lake and was gazette to protect the colony of flamingoes as well as provide sanctuary for the endangered species as such the rhino. Other Savannah games are abounded in and not mention other bird species.
You will check-in at the Eagle Palace Hotel for lunch, which is situated in Nakuru Town. Later you depart for an afternoon game drive around the lakeshore with being the feature for the afternoon, dinner & overnight at Eagle Palace Hotel (BLD).
Day 05: LAKE NAKURU – MASAI MARA
Early breakfast at your hotel and depart the flamingo fringed Lake Nakuru and proceed southwards and turn right at Maai Mahiu to ascend up over the top of the Mau Escarpment and proceed to Masai Mara. Masai Mara crown’s the climax of every safari in Kenya for its breathtaking views, wildlife and birdlife wealth. It borders Serengeti to the north and supports a huge number of games e.g. large herds of elephant, rhino, giraffe, buffalo and their predators abound e.g. lion, leopard, crocodile etc and not to mention the spectacular annual migration of wildebeest, zebras, gazelles.
Lunch to be served at Narok Town. Your accommodation for the next two nights will be at one of the excellent permanent campsites with good facilities as such big permanent tents, dining tent, hot shower, beds etc.
On arrival at Masai Mara, you will be served with Kenyan coffee at our permanent campsite before proceeding for a late afternoon game drive. Later you will return to the campsite where our experienced cook will serve you with continental dinner. Fire will be at the campsite for the rest of the evening, overnight at Mara Sidai Camp (BLD).
Day 06: MASAI MARA
The day will start with an early morning breakfast then head out for a full day game drive with packed lunch. You will have a stopover at a picnic site for lunch and then return to the wilderness in search of games, all meals and overnight at Mara Sidai Camp (BLD).
Day 07: MASAI MARA – NAIROBI
Soon after breakfast, with a game drive en-route drive back to Nairobi with lunch en-route arriving mid-afternoon.
