The Mara Serena Safari Lodge
The Mara Serena Lodge has a spectacular view of the surrounding landscape. It is on this terrain where the great annual migrations take place.... when millions of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle traverse the landscape to feed on the rich new grass and give birth to their young. Set on a high ridge, Mara Serena is a modern incarnation of a traditional African village of domed huts.
Secreted deep within the Masai Mara National Reserve, the Mara Serena Safari Lodge is the ultimate safari destination. Set high on a bush-cloaked hill, embraced by arcing vistas and washed by a sea of richly rolling grasslands, it stands centre-stage to one of Africa’s most dramatic wildlife arenas and has a ringside seat for the greatest wildlife show on Earth, the legendary migration of the wildebeest.
Itinerary:
The 3-day Maasai Mara Safari Tour is about having a close encounter with the wildlife population of the region. You can easily spot Lion, Cheetah, Elephant, Buffalo and several other jungle beasts on your safari trail.
Day 1.
Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive along the floor of the Rift Valley to Maasai Mara arriving camp in the afternoon. Later procede on a game drive. Dinner and overnight at Mara Serena Lodge.
Day 2. Maasai Mara
A full day game drive in Kenya's most popular game sanctuary where you will have the best opportunity of spotting the Big Five (lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant). Optional visit to a local Maasai village. Dinner and overnight Mara Serena Lodge.
Day 3. Maasai Mara/Nairobi
Another morning game drive in Maasai Mara, then depart for Nairobi lunch en route, arriving about 16:00hrs.
