ITINERARY

Day 01 : Nairobi - Amboseli

You will be picked at your Hotel or at the Airport anddrive to Amboseli National Park. Amboseli is known for it's enormous elephant population and other big game that are attracted to the area by underground springs fed from Mt. Kilimanjaro. Your home for the next two nights you will be at AMBOSELI SOPA LODGE.

At the foot of mighty Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest and most famous mountain lies Amboseli Sopa lodge - on the edge of Amboseli National Park - within 200 acres of private land, a stone's throw from the place which in the early 1930's, inspired Ernest Hemingway's unforgetable story "The Snows of Kilimanjaro."

Home to the Masai tribe, the park is also host to over 400 species of breeding birds and teems with rare and wonderful wildelife. The rustic charm of the lodge lends itself not only to safari but also to those adventurers wishing to conquer the mountain's snow-capped peaks.

Arriving in time for lunch, you will have some time to relax before departing on an afternoon game drive in the park. With luck, the cloud cover will lift to reveal the spectacular Mt. Kilimanjaro. Return to the lodge in the early evening in time for a sundown and dinner. Overnight at AMBOSELI SOPA LODGE

Day 02 : Amboseli
Awaken at dawn and depart on an early morning game drive while the light is just perfect for photographing the magnificent Mt. Kilimanjaro. Return to the lodge for breakfast. This afternoon you may want to take a dip in the pool and do some game-viewing from the terrace. In the late afternoon you will have the opportunity for another major game drive. All meals and overnight at AMBOSELI SOPA LODGE.

Day 03 : Amboseli - Nairobi
After breakfast you will say goodbye to the bush and drive back to Nairobi Wilson Airport. Upon arrival you will be transferred to your Hotel or JKIA.
