Masai Mara Safari
Day 1 of Safari to Masai Mara
Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive to Masai Mara with a brief stopover at the view point where you will be able to view a panorama of the Great Rift Valley. Drive down the escarpment and on to Masai Mara arriving for lunch. in the late afternoon you shall proceed on a game drive in the vast game reserve in search of Arican wild cats amongst other wildlife. As the sun sets return for dinner and overnight at Mara Leisure Luxury Tented Camp or Sarova Luxury Tented Camp or similar.
Day 2:Full Day in Masai Mara on Safari
Morning and afternoon game drives as this will be a full day field exploration of maasai mara. Explore the savannah plains of the Mara spotting animals as you go along. There is wildlife within the park all year round but in July to October, vast wildebeest herds converge within the Mara from the Serengeti on the wildebeest migration. You shall have packed lunch within the reserve on a picnic spot. Return to your lodge or luxury camp for dinner, rest and overnight.
Day 3: Masai Mara to Nairobi
Depart from the camp or lodge in the morning and drive north while viewing game and make a stopover at Narok town with a chance to buy a souvenir or have a cup of tea to arrive Nairobi in by late afternoon.
A 3 day safari taken by road or by air depending on your preferences and budget will give you some good time to explore the Mara. Accommodation can be at 5 star lodges or luxury tented camp. All meals will be taken at your lodge or luxury tented camp. Safaris are private in exclusive safari vehicles at your disposal or flying package safaris that are all inclusive and use a shared safari vehicle (maximum 6 persons per vehicle) with guaranteed window seats for wildlife viewing and photography during game drives.
