The Panari Hotel is the Kenya’s latest state-of-the-art hotel along Mombasa Road. The hotel is conveniently located within five kilometres either from the city centre or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. The entrance foyer is impressive and furnished to the latest trends in international design whilst the elegant dÈcor of the hotel ensures its ability to compete with any other in the region. Panari Hotel endeavours to capture the business and the corporate clientele, especially those with offices along the Mombasa Road and the busy industrial district nearby. The Panari Sky Centre intends to capture Nairobi’s premier shopping, dining, leisure, entertainment and accommodation needs and take them a notch higher. The hotel boasts 136 rooms tastefully done with unique antiques adorning the walls. The rooms include standard, deluxe, superior and a presidential suite —the Royal Jade Suite.
The suite comes complete with a four in one: normal shower, Jacuzzi, multi-jet showers and steam, fully stocked bar, a living room as well as a dining room. You can listen to music on your favourite FM station even when having a steam bath in the Jacuzzi.
All rooms are air-conditioned and are equipped with satellite TV with not less than 14 channels. The rooms have telephones, Internet access and a safe.
Dining at the Hotel’s Red Garnet allows one to experience sumptuous meals and tastes of various cultures. At the restaurant you will be sure to get Anglo-American/continental breakfasts, buffet lunches and a la carte dinner. The cuisine of the restaurant on offer caters for all diets and tastes.
The restaurant’s tables are beautifully done with a clear glass top revealing a compartment laced with roses of different colours. The kitchens are equipped with the latest equipment, allowing the chefs to operate in a flexible environment thus allowing for the ever-changing needs of the global traveller.
The hotel’s extensive lounge is furnished with fine leather coaches giving it an exquisite aura.
One of the most compelling facilities available at the Panari Hotel is the ice skating rink. The rink is a completely new concept hitherto unheard of in East and Central Africa.
The rink, located on the second floor of the Panari Centre, is 15,000 square feet with an alpine ambience, snow paintings on the wall and sophisticated lighting. The rink has the capacity to accommodate over 200 skaters at a go. The visitors will be provided with skates and trainers will be available for beginners. The ice-skating is bound to be a popular pastime especially with the expatriates who come from Europe. Guests get to enjoy both the ice-skating and the warmth of the tropical African sun, courtesy of the Panari Sky Centre.
Besides the food courts and the rink, the Centre’s mall has a host of shops and other services. The complex will have two movie theatres, each with a seating capacity of 200 people and high quality surround systems and vision equipment. There is also a casino built on 4,000 square feet with the latest gaming machines and a modern design offering the latest in gambling experience. The shops on the first flour are around an atrium with natural lighting with an encapsulating water fountain in the centre. The shops offer a wide range of items from clothing, jewelry, electronics, gallery and much more. Guests can enjoy the spectacular sunset while sipping cocktails and view wildlife in the neighbouring Nairobi National Park.
