KENYA CAMPING SAFARI ITINERARY
Day 01: Nairobi
On arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta Airport, met by our representative and later transferred to PARKSIDE HOTEL where you will relax. Parkside Hotel is comfortable which our company considers as the best option for the budgeters. Here you are booked on bed and breakfast basis but you can upgrade the hotel status at an extra cost. Overnight at PARKSIDE HOTEL.
Day 02: NAIROBI - AMBOSELI
After an early breakfast, commence your safari and drive south to Amboseli National Park. The park lies at an altitude of about 1200m - 1400m and principal attractions of Amboseli are the spectacular views of Kilimanjaro and the profusion of the wildlife that the park's supports. Large herds of elephant, wildebeest, zebra, giraffe, lion, African fish eagle etc all attracted to this park by permanent supply of water that filters through volcanic rock from Mt. Kilmanjaro.
Lunch will be served en-route.
On arrival our staff will set up the camp while you enjoy afternoon game. The facilities at the campsite are very basic which open ground, Bole-hole water supply, Bathroom Rooms without showers and Pit Latrine.
Later in the late afternoon you will return to the campsite where our experienced cooks will serve you with delicious dinner. Fire will set at the campsite for rest of the evening while you enjoy coffee. Overnight at the campsite (BLD).
Day 03: AMBOSELI
A dawn game drive will be the perfect time for photographing Mt. Kilmanjaro the highest peak in Africa. Return to your campsite for breakfast and thereafter you will have enough time to rest in between the morning and afternoon game drives. All meals and overnight at the campsite (BLD).
Day 04: AMBOSELI - LAKE NAKURU
Soon after an early morning breakfast, you will depart Amboseli to Lake Nakuru via Nairobi for your lunch to be served at your lodge. Lake Nakuru National Park surrounds lake and was gazetted to protect the colony of flamingoes as well as provide sanctuary for the endangered species such as the rhino. Other Savannah games are abounded in and not mention other bird species.
Lunch to be served at your HOTEL GENEVEIVE HOTEL situated Nakuru Town. The hotel has good facilities such as dinning hall, superb rooms, hot shower and good service.
Later in the afternoon you depart the hotel for you afternoon game drive around the lakeshore which will be the feature for the afternoon and later return to HOTEL GENEVEIVE HOTEL for dinner & overnight (BLD).
Day 05: LAKE NAKURU - MASAI MARA
Today our safari will lead us to the jewel of Kenya parks the Masai Mara Game Reserve by road. Masai Mara is Kenya's most visited reserve and a home to the "Big Five". The breathtaking views, a panorama of fertile vast rolling plains which supports a huge amount of resident plain games and their predators. Apart from the big five the Masai Mara is most famous for the annual spectacle of the wildebeest migration, where millions of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle leave the plains of the Serengeti and cross the Mara River in search of fresh feeding grounds.
Lunch to be served en-route at Narok Town.
Your accommodation for the next two nights will be at one of the excellent permanent campsite with good facilities as such big permanent tents, dinning tent, hot shower, beds etc.
On arrival at Masai Mara you will be served with Kenyan coffee at our permanent campsite before proceeding for a late afternoon game drive. Later you will return to the campsite where our experienced cook will serve you with continental dinner. Fire will be at the campsite for the rest of the evening, overnight at our permanent campsite (BLD).
Day 06: MASAI MARA.
The day will start with an early morning game drive before dawn and later return to your camp for breakfast and relax for the rest of late morning and perhaps take a dip at the swimming pool at one of the lodges situated next to our campsite at your cost. Later late afternoon return to the wilderness in search of games, all meals and overnight at our permanent campsite (BLD).
Day 07: MASAI MARA - NAIROBI - AIRPORT
After breakfast, return to Nairobi with lunch en-route arriving mid afternoon. The rest of the afternoon at leisure and later you will be transferred to the airport in time for your International departure flight.
